I think I've found it

After a couple of weeks of serious searching, we've found a used MX-5 in Germany that was ideal: the colour (Strato Blue) and the trim level (1.8 Sport) was just what I was looking for, and best of all, it was a demo car, so it has a very low milage (less than 7000 km), and it's only slightly more than 2 years old.

A hurried call to the dealership confirmed that the car wasn't sold yet. My dad and I planned a trip to Göttingen, the German town near Hannover where the car was to be found. With a trip of approx. 1200 km, it was going to be a long ride.
